Detour Ahead: Local road closures for this week in AA
William between Main Street and Division: Tuesday, Sept. 10-Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019. As part of the William Street Improvement Project, William Street will be closed to westbound traffic between Division and Main Street to allow for road resurfacing. Later in the year, this section will include a protected bike lane on the north side of the street.
Beginning on Sept. 10, westbound traffic will be detoured northbound on Division to westbound on Liberty to southbound on First to William Street. Eastbound traffic will be maintained.
Pedestrian thru-traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.
Hoover, Greene and Hill Improvement Project: 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019. Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, Hill from Main Street to South Fifth, Greene from Hill to north of Hoover, and the intersection of Keech/Greene/Kipke Drive will be closed to through traffic for continuing utility and road work.
Traffic intending to travel eastbound on Hill will be detoured on Hoover to Division to Hill.
Traffic intending to travel westbound on Hill will be detoured on Division to Madison to Main Street to Hill.
Traffic intending to travel on Fifth will be detoured on Hoover to Division to Madison to Fifth.
Traffic intending to travel on Greene will be detoured on Division to Madison to Main Street to Hoover to Greene.
Traffic intending to travel on Kipke Drive will be detoured on Hoover to Main Street to Stadium Boulevard to Kipke Drive.
