Open for the 2021 season: The Gallup Park Livery opens for boat rentals on Saturday, April 17, and will be open every day, weather permitting, weekdays 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., and weekends 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Boat reservations are required online again this year to help maintain safe physical distancing among customers. River trips, which require van transportation and paddling down the river from Argo to Gallup, are currently not available due to COVID-19 safety precautions and high water levels in the river. Paddling canoes, kayaks and paddleboats in 2.5-mile Gallup Pond is available every day up until 5 p.m. with all boats due in by 7 p.m.
