Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners Considering Public Health and Seniors Millage, Accelerated Climate Action Goal and Investment in Sustainability

Ann Arbor – At their remote August 5, 2020 Ways and Means Committee and Board of Commissioners meetings, the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution to authorize language adding a Public Health and Seniors millage to the November 3, 2020 general election ballot. They will also consider resolutions to accelerate the county’s Carbon Neutrality goal from 2035 to 2030 and to allocate $2.5 million dollars towards an LED lighting project estimated to cut the county’s carbon output by 30%.
