Track & Field: Skyline has strong showings in losses to Dexter, Saline

Both the Skyline boys and girls track and field teams suffered tough losses to Dexter and Saline in their double-dual last Tuesday. But both teams had standout individual performances.
The following girls scored points for the Eagles:
100 meters: Sophomore Sadie Schultz (14.45 — 9th overall, 3rd against Dexter)
200 meters: Senior Sydney Cunningham (29.04 — 6th overall, 2nd against Dexter)
800 meters: Junior Natalie Kessler (2:25.9 — 1st overall)
1600 meters: Freshman Ayla Balazer (5:51.1 — 6th overall, 3rd against Dexter)
3200 meters: Sophomore Allison Mayer (12:51.0 — 3rd overall, 2nd against Saline and Dexter), Sophomore Madeleine Kauffman (13.02.5 — 3rd against Saline)
Pole Vault: Junior Natalie Kessler (9’6 — 2nd overall, 1st against Dexter), Sophomore Bryn Christensen (8’6 — 4th overall, 3rd against Saline and Dexter)
Long Jump: Junior Leah White (14’08.5 — 2nd overall, 1st against Dexter)
High Jump: Sophomore Bryn Christensen (4’02 — 7th overall, 3rd against Saline)
