Skyline’s Murray named to First Team All-State in volleyball
The Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce the selection of the 2020 MIVCA Volleyball All State Teams. Each Division has three teams with 10 – 12 players on each and up to 30 Honorable Mention players.
All Regions in the State have been represented this year and it is an excellent group of young women. The MIVCA is proud of how they performed and the energy and poise they displayed on the court and off the court through this challenging season.
Skyline sophomore Harper Murray was named to the Division 1 First Team. Murray was named to the Third Team last year as a freshman.
She was the only local player and the only player from the SEC to earn first-team honors. Lowell had three players and Mercy and Byron Center each had two on the First Team.
Saline senior Hannah Blaney made the Second Team.
There were no local players on the Third Team or Honorable Mention.
