Skyline basketball coach creates awesome video highlighting seniors

Skyline boys’ basketball coach Mike Lovelace created a video on HUDL to spotlight the Eagle’s two seniors Kabir Bergin and Jarrett Sung:

Kabir Bergin
Kabir will play college basketball at Emory of Oxford college in Georgia! Kabir just recently made this decision this past week and he will stay an Eagle as Emory’s mascot is also the Eagles! Kabir’s outstanding effort and performance in the classroom has gotten him into an outstanding academic college where he can also play basketball!
Kabir is a three year varsity player and was a captain for his senior season. Kabir was our team MVP and he really worked hard on his leadership skills this past season to lead a very young team to a very impressive 16-6 record. Kabir scores inside, midrange and from 3 point range and did a great job improving his defense and rebounding output.
During Kabir’s 3 years on Skyline varsity where he was a main fixture, the team’s record has been 54-15 with two district championships, a league championship, an undefeated regular season and Kabir led us to two district wins this season heading into the District Championship before the season was cancelled. We ended the season with a WIN.
 THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING KABIR!
Jarrett Sung
Jarrett will be heading to UCLA! Jarrett excels in the classroom and on the court. Jarrett played in his first varsity season as a senior for 19-20 season. Our staff was very excited that Jarrett played basketball his senior season to bring added leadership and maturity to a very young team (Jarrett played in the program as a Freshmen and Sophomore before taking his Junior year off.) Jarrett had a great positive attitude all season long. He worked hard everyday pushing the younger kids while being a solid model of consistency that we really needed.
Jarrett made his best contribution during senior night against an undefeated Huron team making the first basket of the game and setting the tone for a very special victory night over the River Rats! While Jarrett’s contributions in the stat books will not appear to be significant, his contributions to the team’s success are enormous with everything he brought as a high character teammate!

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING JARRETT!
