Plenty of upcoming events in Ann Arbor parks

Facilities open
Cobblestone Farm and Fuller Park Pool have reopened after a short-term closure this week. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Important update about pool schedule changes
Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation is making an adjustment to operating hours and offerings at some locations due to a reduction in staff. We are making these operational changes to provide as many safe opportunities for the community as our staffing level changes. Staffing levels will continue to be monitored, and if any additional changes are necessary, they will be communicated. Thank you for understanding.

• The last day Buhr Park Outdoor Pool and Veterans Memorial Park Pool will be open for the season is Sunday, Aug. 29.
• The main locker rooms at Fuller Park Pool will be closing on Sunday, Aug. 22. Please note: The two gender-neutral bathrooms will remain open but we ask that swimmers come dressed to swim and shower and change upon leaving the pool.

Argo and Gallup livery schedules are changing to fall hours. Between Monday, Aug. 30 and Friday, Sept. 3, only the Gallup Livery location will be open. You must begin at Gallup Livery to start your 3.7-mile river trip or rent a boat for stillwater paddling on 2.5-mile Gallup Pond. The Argo Livery will be closed Aug. 30-Sept. 3. It will be open for the three-day Labor Day weekend and then close for the season Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The Gallup Livery will be open every day, weather dependent, until Sunday, Oct. 24. The 3.7-mile river trip and 2.5-mle Gallup Pond paddles are offered every day from the Gallup Livery location until we close for the season. The 3.7-mile river trip starts with a van ride upriver and you paddle back down the river to where your car is parked at the Gallup Livery.
