Ann Arbor Farmers Market winter schedule
The Ann Arbor Farmers Markets last Wednesday market is today until 3 p.m. at 315 Detroit St. There will be no market on Saturday, Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. The Saturday market will resume on Jan. 8 with winter hours: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. You will find wreaths, centerpieces, holiday décor, gifts, apples, apple cider, winter squash, root vegetables, cabbage, herbs, bread, poultry, eggs, meat, cheese, baked goods, prepared food, beverages, artisan products and more! We accept cash and tokens for credit cards and SNAP/EBT/P-EBT are available at our market office window. Preordering from select vendors continues with curbside or walk-in pickup, 8 a.m.-noon. For preorders, contact the vendor directly from our directory. Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation customer service center schedule
With the upcoming holiday the parks customer service center located at Cobblestone Farm with have a modified schedule:

* Wednesday, Dec. 22 the office will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (closed Thursday and Friday).
* Monday, Dec. 27-Wednesday, Dec. 29 the office will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (closed Thursday and Friday).

Regular hours will resume Monday, Jan. 3, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.


Ann Arbor Senior Center updates
The center will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23-Sunday, Jan. 2. Regular programming will resume the week of Jan. 3.

Tis the season for giving
Please consider donating now through Dec. 30, a non-perishable food, soap or paper product to those experiencing food insecurity. Examples of items include unopened canned goods, dry mixes, packaged pasta, baking supplies, juice boxes, paper towel, toilet paper, dish and laundry soap and more. Supervised bridge play
Mondays, Jan. 3 and 10, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and Tuesdays, Jan. 4 and 11, 1-3 p.m.

Supervised Bridge play is designed for beginners and low intermediate players who wish to improve their bidding, declarer and defensive play. The program will run with students playing seven to nine hands per session. Hands will be analyzed after completion to review the bidding, play and defense. No book or partner needed. It is highly recommended that students have some type of previous bidding class or experience. Drop-in fee: $15 members; $17 nonmembers. This is just practice. Duplicate non-sanctioned Bridge games
Every Monday, 12:30-3:30 p.m. Non-sanctioned Duplicate Bridge, directed by Ray Gentz, attracts players of all ages with varied levels of expertise including life masters to beginners. Drop-in fee: $2 members; $3 nonmembers. Call 734.794.6250 for details.

Beginner Qigong and Tai Chi
Join us Tuesdays, Jan. 11-March 29, 9:30-10:30 a.m., to practice simple, smooth whole-body movements that can improve your quality of life when you added to your daily routine. Light, fun, refreshing warm-ups include stretching, joint revolutions, loosening and silk reeling exercise. Learn simple Qigong and Tai Chi forms that you can practice on your own. This in-person program is in collaboration with the Washtenaw Community College senior focus programs, which requires participants to be aged 65 or older and masks are required. Ann Arbor Senior Center live trivia
Wednesdays, Dec. 29 and Jan. 5, 19, 1-2 p.m. Each game will have questions based on weekly themes. Invite your friends, grandchildren and neighbors to login and play with you.
