Hockey: Skyline skates into new season with talent, experience and high expectations

The Skyline hockey team skates into the 2019-20 season with a team loaded with talent, plenty of depth, strong coaching and, because of all of the above, very high expectations.

“We only graduated two players from last year’s team,” said Skyline coach Jake Stripp, now in his fifth year as head coach. This year’s seniors have played in five postseason games and have life experience so they do not get flustered. We have good depth and experience.”

The Eagles went 16-8-0 last season.
