Golf: Pioneers drive record to 13-0 at SEC quad match (WLAA photogallery)
The Pioneer girls’ golf team scored three more wins on Wednesday afternoon as the Pioneers scored a team-best round of 170 at Lake Forrest Golf Club in Saline.
Pinckney was second with a 186 followed by Dexter (200) and Monroe (244).
It was another strong showing atop the leaderboard for the Pioneers.
Amaya Melendez led the way with an impressive 37 on the front nine at Lake Forrest. Mackenzie Rooney fired a 42, Olivia Lyle shot a 45 and Jillian Giordano shot a 46 for the Pioneers.
“It was a good performance for us and it keeps us first overall in the SEC,” said Pioneer Coach Bill Lyle.
