Golf: Eagles zoom past Pinckney in SEC dual-match

Monday was the first real zoom school day for Ann Arbor high school students. The Skyline girls’ golf team had a chance to trade in their laptops for pitching wedges and putters and enjoy a nice round of golf in the afternoon.

Skyline scored a 190-216 victory over Pinckney in an SEC dual-match.

Junior Adie Maki led the Eagles with a best-round score of 37.

The Eagles then had three players all card a 51: junior Riya Patchava, senior Alison Marshall and freshman Reva Patchava.

Seniors Katie Maugh and Mackenzie Dempsey each shot a 56 for the Eagles.

The Pirates were led by senior Olivia Ohmer (39) and freshman Alivia Ligrow (44).

Skyline tees it up on Wednesday against rival Pioneer.
