Girls Hockey: Barricklow’s four goals help lead Pioneers over Mercy

Kayleigh Barricklow scored the first two goals of the game and finished with four in Pioneer’s 8-0 win Wednesday over Farmington Hills Mercy. The Pioneers led 4-0 after the first period and 6-0 after two periods. They outshot Marian 31-1.

Barricklow (from Anna Thomas) scored to make it 1-0 and then added her second goal from Maya Todd to make it 2-0. Grace Bradley (from Anna Thomas and Piper Campbell) made it 3-0 and Abby Cheng (from Campbell and Thomas) pushed the lead to 4-0 in the first period.

Barricklow (from Thomas) scored to make it 5-0 and then Bradley (from Thomas) gave Pioneer a 6-0 lead they would take into the final period.

Barricklow again scored the first goal of the period to make it 7-0. Senna Neubauer (from Alex Friedman and Leslie Reid) finished the game with the team’s eighth goal.
