Cross Country: FGR competes at D-2 State Finals (WLAA photo gallery)
Two weeks ago at Lake Erie Metropark, the Father Gabriel Richard girls’ cross country team crossed the finish line at Regionals and earned a spot in the Division 2 State Finals on Saturday.
It was a great reward for a team that worked very hard all season.
On Saturday at MIS, the Irish enjoyed their reward by competing against the best teams in the state in the Division 2 girls’ race. And while they came in 28th place out of 28 teams, just getting there was all that really mattered to the Irish. And they all ran hard and pushed for the best results they could – Irish pride.
