Crew: Skyline competes at Nationals after winning state titles

The Skyline crew team made the trip to Camden, NJ for what proved to be a stellar weekend at the SRAA National Championships. Skyline had seven boats qualify with five making it to finals (top six).

Huron and Pioneer both qualified 1 boat each as well.

“It was great work from Ann Arbor across the board,” said Skyline Coach Kit Bennett.

Skyline Crowned Crew State Champions!  

Despite some early storms in the day delaying racing. Skyline’s Crew team was able to win 8 event State titles out of 24, propelling them emphatically to the overall Team and Women’s points State Championships (a program first) as well as taking the runner’s up spot on the Men’s team points.

Pioneer placed 3rd overall and 2nd on the Women’s points, Huron placed 11th overall. A great showing from local teams across the board in all events was great to see!
