Boys Basketball: Skyline sidelined because of COVID for second time this season
For the second time this season, the Skyline boys’ basketball team is headed to the sideline.
Because of a positive COVID test on the Skyline varsity team, the Eagles have entered their second quarantine of this already shortened season. The quarantine is scheduled to last through Sunday, March 21. The Eagles have had to cancel their games during that time and won’t be allowed to practice.
“With the current plan we will be able to have a practice on Monday, March 22 and then play in our District game on Tuesday, March 23 against South Lyon at Dexter at 5:30 p.m.,” said Skyline Coach Mike Lovelace.
The Eagles had to quarantine last month following a game with Huron after the River Rats had a positive test.
