Baseball: Three Ann Arbor teams heading to Saline for Districts
The three public Ann Arbor baseball teams are headed to Saline for the Division 1 District 15 tournament which begins on Tuesday and ends on Saturday.
Skyline will face host Saline at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in a quarterfinal game with the winner to face Pioneer at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Ypsilanti will play Huron in the other semifinal game at noon on Saturday. The finals are at 3 p.m.
The Eagles are 13-18 on the season but have been playing better lately. They defeated Plymouth 7-0 on Tuesday after splitting a doubleheader with Waterford Kettering.
Skyline played Saline three times in two days earlier in the month with Saline winning twice and Skyline winning once in three competitive games.
Pioneer won two of the three games with Skyline at the end of April.
Saline is 25-9 on the season and won all three games against Pioneer but all three were relatively close.
