Arts Alliance managing ReVIVE All Zones for the AA Downtown Development Authority

The Arts Alliance is managing the ReVIVE All Zones for the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority. It follows the principals and best practices of public art and design and will integrate the complementary practices of Tactical Urbanism into this project.

The Arts Alliance believes public art and design projects should engage citizens, be authentic to the community and reflect the breadth and depth of the community’s population and culture. It publishes these intentions in its project descriptions and calls for art, juries, board, personnel and volunteers.

The team strives to lean in, listen to and act on how its community defines the intrinsic and aesthetic qualities of art and creativity be it by the cultural expert, credentialed scholar, journeyed or self-taught master, and/or the astute consumer of the form.
