Sign up for lessons and summer day camps in the parks
There are an endless number of programs and activities you can now register for in the Ann Arbor parks! From summer day camps and golf and swim lessons to canoe livery classes, volunteer outreach opportunities and Ann Arbor Senior Center programs. Log onto www.a2gov.org/parksregister to sign up! Please note: Lessons and day camps are filling up fast. Argo and Gallup Canoe Livery day camps are completely full and registration is closed for those two camp locations.

Gallup Park Livery opens Saturday, April 23, for the 2022 season. The Gallup Livery will be open, weather dependent, Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The 3.7-mile river trip and 2.5-stillwater paddle are offered from the Gallup Livery location in the early spring season. The City of Ann Arbor is seeking public input regarding the potential creation of a Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU). An SEU is a community owned energy utility that provides electricity from local solar and battery storage systems installed on homes and businesses throughout the City. The envisioned Ann Arbor SEU is a community-owned utility that provides 100 percent clean, reliable, locally built, and affordable electricity; built by the community, for the community. It is a supplemental utility to what we currently have, meaning residents would have a choice for how to procure their energy; a choice most do not have today. The City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Open Space (PROS) Plan process is now underway. An online survey is gathering community feedback to help identify goals, needs and priorities for Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation for the next five years. The survey will close June 5.
Grab your clubs and book a tee time
Leslie Park Golf Course (LPGC) has all 18-holes available to play at the Spring rate. Make a tee time using the online system or call LPGC at 734.794.6245. Huron Hills Golf Course (HHGC) is also open but for only 9-hole play only at this time. Please call HHGC at 734.794.6246 to make a tee time. Please remember there are riding carts at both courses, but use can be restricted due to the weather. Please call ahead to confirm availability this time of year. Thank you for understanding.
Ann Arbor Senior Center upcoming programs
April flowers drive-thru: Wednesday, April 20, noon-1 p.m. Rescheduled due to weather – spots still available!
