Arbor Hospice: Local Student Volunteers Music Talents on Christmas Eve

University of Michigan student and Arbor Hospice music volunteer Sherwin Navaz will hold an intimate virtual piano concert at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The Facebook concert will be shared via Watch Party by Arbor Hospice to showcase a talented local musician as he entertains local families on one of the jolliest nights of the year.

As an Arbor Hospice music volunteer, Navaz brings comfort and peace to patients with serious and terminal illnesses. Often, the sounds of his piano stir emotions and memories that otherwise feel like a lifetime away. In addition to his volunteering, Navaz studies Cellular & Molecular Biology and Music at the University of Michigan. He is also a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Navaz will perform a diverse musical selection geared towards veterans, classical music enthusiasts, musical theater enthusiasts, those who do/don’t celebrate Christmas and so much more. Expect big names across genres such as Beethoven and Chopin to Sound of Music and The Beatles.
