AAPS: Ann Arbor Public Schools recognizes 2020-21 retirees at virtual celebration

The Ann Arbor Public Schools recognized 69 employees who retired after a combined 1,614 years of service to the district at a virtual celebration last night. This includes 23 employees who served over 30 years. Kindergarten teacher Sally Steward and math teacher Don Zekany retired after more than 40 years of employment, and physical education teacher Diane Wahl retired after more than 50 years, all of them at Wines Elementary.
