Diving: Huron makes huge splash at Regionals; Costello finishes first overall

On Thursday, Nov. 14, Huron hosted the MHSAA Division 1 Diving Regionals, and it was truly a wonderful night for the River Rats!

The best of the best from 11 schools in the region came to compete for the top 12 spots to move forward to the MHSAA State Championships on November 22-23 in Holland.

These four Huron divers will be representing Huron in Holland, Michigan on Nov. 22^nd-23^rd at the State Championships: Junior Annie Costello, 1^st, also making All-American consideration; senior Sami Ruud, 7^th; junior Julie Park 9^t;, and up and coming freshman Hannah Margolis, 11^th .

Senior Anna Boerst and sophomore Maggie Thomas, both qualifying for their first Regionals, finished 25^th and 27^th, respectively.

Congratulations also to coaches Vicki and Dick Kimball for this great accomplishment of helping four divers advance to States!
