EMU named a Diversity Champion as part of 2019 Corp! Salute to Diversity
YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University has been named a Diversity Champion as part of the 2019 Corp! Salute to Diversity Awards. EMU was recognized during an awards ceremony hosted at the International Banquet Center in Detroit on September 26, along with 20 other businesses recognized as 2019 Diversity Champions.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Diversity Champion as part of the Corp! Michigan Salute to Diversity awards,” said EMU Director of Diversity and Community Involvement, Steven Bryant. “At EMU, we have multiple student organizations and identity based centers that continue to work towards increasing equity and fostering inclusion. This award is a representation of the hard work that goes into bringing that value to life every day.”
According to its website, Corp! Magazine and corpmagazine.com are the only statewide publications in Michigan dedicated to business owners and C-Suite leaders. The print and digital publications focus on best practices, trends, economic vitality and reporting on the day-to-day business transactions and plans across all business sectors.
