Boys Cross Country: Skyline places third at 29-team Jackson Invitational

At last weekend’s Jackson Invitational at Ella Sharp Park, the heat and humidity greeted runners at the starting line in the highly competitive 29-team field. But the conditions didn’t slow down the Skyline boys’ varsity team as the Eagles landed in fourth place with 153 points.

Romeo finished first with 107 points followed by Clarkston with 118 and Dexter with 134 points. Olentangy Liberty (171) was fifth followed by Hartland (189) and Rochester Hills Stoney Creek (200).

Skyline had two runners land in the top 10. Junior Hobbs Kessler was sixth in 15:42.9 and senior Thomas Young was 10^th in 16:05.6.
